5 Days of Tips for Busy Writers

Hey everybody! I am super excited to launch my email newsletter (finally!) just in time for NaNoWriMo. Most of the time, I’ll send a newsletter every month or two with writing tips, writing updates, and the latest from my blog. But every so often, like now, I’ll have a little more for you.

I asked groups of writers what their biggest challenge was with NaNoWriMo. By far, the most common answer was finding the time. The second biggest challenge was fighting the urge to self-edit as the writer writes. So I’ve created a series of tips to help you make the most of your writing time (and how to find that time in the first place), as well as ways to avoid self-editing as you write. These tips are useful to any writer busy with life, not just NaNoWriMo-ers. But who knows? Maybe this will be the year you complete NaNoWriMo! I’m rooting for you!

Here are the details. When you sign up for my newsletter by November 8, you’ll get 5 Days of Tips for Busy Writers:

Day 1—Give Yourself a Break
Day 2—Find Time to Write
Day 3—Make the Most of Fifteen Minutes’ Writing Time
Day 4—Fight the Self-editing Bug
Day 5—Get started!

You’ll also be the first to know about new writing courses and opportunities that I have coming, such as my upcoming course that will cover the most important elements of storytelling in ways that beginning writers can easily understand and use but with enough depth and meat that more advanced writers can still learn and grow.

The course is still in the works, so stay tuned! I hope to launch it November 9, but everything is taking me longer than expected. 😉

Until then,

Happy Writing!

P.S. So I’m still working out the kinks. You should see a pop-up subscription form, but if not, here’s a link where you can subscribe: https://landing.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/h4g1t4.
