Happy Birthday

For my birthday present this year, I finally joined The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Hurray! Step one toward fame and multimilliondollardom check!

I’m only kidding. But step two toward seriously pursuing a career in the field I love, check. (Step one was the MFA.)

Step three, join a critique group.

Step four, attend a conference.

Step five–finish the dang book! 😉
